TOM'S parliamentary Christmas card this year was
designed by a pupil from the new Ashpark Primary School in
Glasgow.

The design was chosen following a competition to draw the best
illustration in which all the school's pupils took part. Presenting
the prizes to the winners and runners-up - gift vouchers for the
nearby Silverburn shopping centre - Tom said he had chosen the
winning design because it depicted a "Rudolph with real attitude -
that appealed to me."
The winning design was by Nadia Cannon, aged 8 (pictured below
with Tom and Colin Gray, the head teacher, along with the two
runners-up, Micah Murray, aged 9 and Lee McCallum, aged 7).
Ashpark Primary is a new-build school and is the result of a
merger of the former Carnwadric and Arden primary schools.
