A reminder to parents to make the most of the Child Trust Fund has been posted through the doors of hundreds of local residents.

Local representatives Tom Harris MP, James Kelly MSP and Councillor Archie Graham were joined by Labour Party activists to distribute information leaflets in the Kings Park area this morning.

As well as information about the Child Trust Fund, the leaflets included details of work James and Archie are doing at Holyrood and the City Chambers respectively.

Tom said: "It's so important that parents of young children deposit their Baby Bonds so they can help ive their children a more secure start to their adult lives in the future.

"But despite the importance of the Child Trust Fund, there are still too many families in Glasgow South who aren't depositing the bonds."
